Mum and I completed our first Moonwalk together in May 2006, the year following her own treatment for breast cancer. The following year we decided to do it all again! This May we were to complete our 3rd Moonwalk together, it was even more special to us as it marked not only the 10th anniversary of our first Moonwalk but 11 years since Mum had fought and won her own battle against breast cancer. This cause was always so important to Mum and to be able to help others fight, and beat, this disease even though she herself is no longer with us, seems a very fitting tribute to her memory.
